Hoppy Easter!

We had an awesome Easter. The boys absolutely loved coloring eggs and then finding them on Easter morning. This was the first year that Nathan really got into dyeing eggs. Check out how happy he is.

On Saturday morning, we went to the Cherry Hill egg hunt with my good friend Tessa and her son, Roland. There were literally 25,000 eggs and Nathan got 4 of them. We waited 45 minutes for it to start and it lasted all of 45 seconds.

Aren't these baskets cute?

Here are all of the Easter morning pics. Ryan loved just scooting around. He got his first tooth on Saturday morning so he has been chomping on anything he can get his hands on.

The Easter Bunny left Nathan 2 water guns in his basket. Nate decided to torture Calvin all afternoon by squirting him.

7 Months and Counting

I can't believe Ryan is already 7 months old. He is getting to be quite the pro at standing and crawling.  He wouldn't sit still on the sofa for our monthly shot so I had to resort to a floor shot.

This is basically what he's been doing this past week.  Nathan has had so much more fun playing with him now that they can interact.

Since daycare was closed today, we decided to grab some breakfast and then head to the zoo.  This was Ryan's first experience in a high chair out at a restaurant.  He did fantastic.
When Nathan saw me taking a picture of Ryan, he wanted me to take one of him too.  He also wanted to eat Cheerios like Ryan.
We were accompanied on our zoo trip by 2 of Nathan and Ryan's best buddies, Roland and Brad.  They loved looking at the orangutans and the rhino.
After all the excitement of the zoo, its no wonder they zonked out in the car on the ride home.

We are dyeing Easter eggs tonight so I'll post the infamous video of the event some time later today or tomorrow.

Ryan rode the swing for the first time at the park over the weekend. He loved it.

Super Fun Weekend!

A weekend like this is what being a family is all about. Yesterday, we went to the circus. I don't recall if I have ever been to the circus and Randy said it was at least 20 years since he went. It was so entertaining and both boys had a lot of fun. We were surprised by Ryan's attentiveness to it. He watched the entire first half. Then slept the second half. Nathan loved it and has talked about the lions and tigers since we left.

These animals really are amazing, but I must say that I was very happy we had seats a little higher up (just in case...).
Nathan loved hanging out with his buddy, Roland.
Ryan zonked out for the second half. I have no clue how he slept through all the noise.

Then, this morning we started the next season of soccer. Now that Nathan is 3, he is in a class that doesn't have parental involvement. Let me restate - it shouldn't have parental involvement. Nathan was a shy guy and clung to Daddy's leg for most of the time.

After a busy soccer morning, we made our way over to The Little Gym for Bradley's 1st Birthday Party. Brad is my good friend Kim's, baby. Here is a picture of Kim, her husband Kevin, and Brad.
Nathan had a lot of fun jumping on all the equipment. Do we have a gymnast on our hands?
Ryan was really hoping they would let him participate, but I made him hang out with me.

Our Special Boys!

This past weekend we celebrated 2 very important milestones in the boys' lives.  Nathan turned 3 and Ryan was baptized.  I can't believe my baby is 3!  He is smart, independent and super funny.  His birthday gifts this year revolved around electronic games and puzzles.  Here are some photos from the birthday portion of the party.

Who doesn't love a delicious cookie cake?
Ryan was just hanging out with everyone during the party.
Nathan loved opening all his presents.  Thanks everyone for the amazing gifts.
My birthday boy and his cake!
Then the party turned to the Baptism.  It was the first special event we have been blessed to celebrate with our cute bugger, Ryan.
Ryan has great Godparents, my mom and my brother!
 What a good looking group!
We requested Father Tom.  He really knows how to related the Gospel to our own lives.
Ryan was sound asleep until his head actually got wet.  Then everyone in the church could hear him.
Once we got home, the party got started!
Men vs. Women in Taboo is really unfair to the men!
Nana was hanging out with her boys.
 Playing Taboo!
We have been so amazingly blessed to have such wonderful family to support us.  Nathan and Ryan are so lucky to have such loving Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles.  We just hope that we can be there for all of you as much as you are there for us.

5 months old

Time is flying. Ryan is already jumping, eating, rolling and pretty much making us laugh every day.
