A Happy Baby

Nathan had another first today. He grabbed on to his playmat toy for the first time and held onto it for a few minutes.

2 Months Old

Nathan just turned 2 months old. We can't believe how much personality he has for such a little guy. Every day is more exciting than the last.

BBQing Weather is Here!

We had our first BBQ of the season yesterday. It was nice to have a couple friends over, relax with some tasty burgers and chicken from Chef Randy, and throw back a cold beer. We have tons of leftovers so please swing to help us empty our frig.

My Little Superman

I've been meaning to post this for a while but have been tied up with Easter posts, etc. We have found some interesting ways to entertain Nathan and this happens to be one of them.

Easter Weekend

On Saturday we visited with Pap Pap, Nonni, and Uncle Bobby.

Then on Sunday, Nathan woke up to a surprise from the Easter Bunny...

Then we went to Uncle Freddie and Aunt Michelle's house for Easter dinner. Everyone had a great time entertaining Nathan.

Egg-stravaganza

We had our 1st egg dyeing experience as a family. Randy and I definitely had way more fun than Nathan did. Here are 2 memorable videos of our night.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

Nathan had his first visit with the Easter Bunny today. He did so well and looked so cute. Thanks to Titi Merida for the adorable spring outfit.

All Dressed Up

Randy was recognized at a black tie event this past weekend in Virginia. This was the first time that Nathan was away from home over night. He did great. Grammy met us in Virginia to babysit while we were at the event. She took him on walks around the hotel and read him lots of books. We had a great time at the event with all the tasty food, good drinks, and dancing. Although it was nice to have a fun night out - we both missed Nathan the entire time. Thanks Grammy for making the long trip just to help us out.

On another note - we put Nathan in his high chair for the first time. He didn't really enjoy it, but we had fun watching him squirm around in it.

My baby is 6 weeks old!!!

I can't believe Nathan is already 6 weeks old. It has been the most glorious time of my life. Most of the time these days - you can find him lounging around the house with mom and dad. Here are a couple pictures of our pumpkin.
