Look What I Can Do!!

January 7th was a big day in our house. It was the first time Nathan used his potty. Since then, he has gone 5 times total including just this morning. I finally decided it was time to capture a picture of it to cherish the moment. We are working on having it be more consistent.

Here is Nathan on his new favorite toy. Must admit, he was afraid of it at first, but now he loves it.

Happy Birthday Uncle Bobby!

My wonderful brother celebrated his 16th birthday yesterday. I can't believe how grown up he is. He is a smart, clever, and funny young man and I'm so proud he's my brother.
When we aren't partying, Nathan is busy learning. He loves learning so much that it sometimes tires Randy and I out. He is constantly begging us to do Brain Quest or flash cards. He is so smart and pick things up very quickly. Here is a picture of him doing 4 piece jigsaw puzzzles. Nathan knows all 53 flash cards. Next step is teaching him how to read the words and not just identify the pictures on the cards.
Pap Pap got Nathan to balance a Rubik's Cube on his head. What a talent!!
Next post will highlight another first Nathan recently had...I don't have pictures of it so I don't want to spill the beans just yet.

Winter Classic Weekend!

We had the awesome experience of being able to attend the 4th Annual Winter Classic. The Pittsburgh Penguins played against the Washington Capitals. Here are some pictures of the amazing game.

Here is Mario Lemieux, Franco Harris, and Jerome Bettis dropped the first puck.

Here is Sid the Kid walking to the ice.

The view from our seats.

We got wet and it was worth it. And yes, Randy isn't wearing a coat.

Too bad this was the final score.

We also saw some other VIPs while we were in Pittsburgh...Ghetto Master and the Philosopher Nathan and his girlfriend LaurenNathan and Grammy before the game My awesomely cute family all decked out in our Penguin gear.
